William Gooderhams table, cheffienier and beer mug
According to my father from his grandmother, here is the story. In William Gooderham's home there were 2 cheffenieres, 1 at each end of the dining room. There were also 2 half drop leaf tables. They were pushed together for meals, and to the sides when not needed. I possess 1 table and 1 cheffenier. Another Snider family cousin has the cheffenier mate. The one my cousin has passed down from my great grandmother, Harriet Rodwell Walker. The one I have through her sister. My father purchased it from Bertram Sturrup about 1960 and refinished it.
